History

The Invercargill Brewery is the brainchild of Southlanders Steve and Gerry Nally.  In 1996 the then crazy idea of owning and running a brewery started.  It began with our love of great beer, and... now... with kiwi ingenuity we have the brewery, we are licensed, and we make an excellent reange of boutique beverages.

Brewed with passion

The premium beer market is ever increasing.  New Zealander's want to drink quality beers with a difference.  The beer that we passionately brew at the Invercargill Brewery, while being based on traditional styles, is designed for this demanding market.  We want people to be able to enjoy a locally made quality beer and offer variety of styles.

Beer with heart

Our products are 100% naturally - only malt, hop, yeast and water go into our beer - no preservative.  Apples from Central Otago are used for the cider.  These pure ingredients and the brewery's X-factor are combined to brew true to style beer and cider.
